Develop your understanding of soft pastel materials and techniques with an emphasis on color, composition, layering, and mark making in this 1-day workshop with Vermont landscape artist, Alyssa DeLaBruere.
Alyssa will introduce you to this versatile and direct media for new comers or help to explore new methods and techniques for continuing pastel artists. Alyssa works in a vast array of media with an emphasis on painting, pastel and mixed media – sharing her knowledge with two teaching studios in Derby and Middlesex, Vermont, along with leading destination painting workshops in both Europe and the United States. Alyssa is delighted to share her depth of knowledge of both the landscape, pastel, and art foundations with this Bryan Gallery workshop.
This workshop is open to all ability levels. All materials are included in the workshop fee, working pastel artists are welcome to bring their own materials if they so choose.
