Built in the 1880s by Herbert Carpenter, son of famed artist Francis Bicknell Carpenter, Camp Arden offers a charming retreat into the rustic elegance of a bygone era. Guests will stay in the East Lake Cabin, an English-style cabin, perfectly situated to take full advantage of all the Adirondacks have to offer.
Relax on the spacious, screened-in porch, paddle across Carpenter Pond in a provided canoe, or cozy up to an outdoor fire. Inner tubing, catch-and-release native Brook Trout, and 80 acres of property to explore around the camp. High speed internet is available via SpaceX Starlink. Camp Arden is the perfect Adirondack retreat!
Located in the Loon Lake region. Camp Arden is a 20-minute drive to Saranac Lake, and a 35 minute drive to Lake Placid (host to the 1932 and 1980 Olympic Games.)
