This 2-day workshop combines plein air and studio painting - sketching and painting outdoors, followed by moving into the studio to further develop paintings. Other topics that will be covered include mixing paint, composition, massing and building form, indicating light and shadow, developing atmospheric distance, and learning to see when your painting is complete. Students will produce several studies and at least one, possibly two, larger, more finished pieces.
